We provide houses to needy dogs and educate our community about animal welfare issues, such as providing for a pet’s basic needs and how to combat pet over-population.

Founder & CEO

Supplying doghouses and kennels to dogs in need, as well as working at Rabun Animal Hospital as a vet assistant, fulfills Brenda’s mission of lessening the suffering of all animals. She received certification as a pet bereavement counselor and is grateful for the opportunity to support people during this difficult time of loss. Habitat for Hounds has shown her how each one of us can make a difference in the life of an animal. She spends her free time with her family of rescued dogs and supportive husband.
